Job summary

Lalamove in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Tax & Accounting Associate to scale our rapid growth and ensure accurate tax reporting and accounting across Indonesia.

You will prepare WHT, VAT, SPT Masa and Tahunan, CIT provisions, and coordinate with the Indonesian Tax Office, while staying updated on tax regulations. This role thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative culture that values precision and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 4+ years experience as Tax Accountant or similar role.
• Brevet A & B.
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian taxation.
• Familiar with tax and accounting software (Coretax, Xero, Netsuite).
• Good MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and report withholding tax (WHT 21, 23, 26, 4(2)) and VAT/e-Faktur into Coretax.
• Prepare Monthly and Annual Tax Returns (SPT Masa, SPT Tahunan).
• Prepare monthly CIT provision.
• Prepare and file corporate income tax reporting (CIT) returns.
• Issue withholding tax slips and distribute to counterparty.
• Assist with tax audits and coordinate with the Tax Office (KPP/DJP).
• Support tax audits and respond to SP2DK and related correspondence.
• Monitor Indonesian tax regulations and stay updated.

What you’ll do

• Prepare, calculate, manage and ensure accurate and timely calculation and reporting into Coretax of Withholding tax (Wht 21, Wht 23, Wht 26, Wht 4(2)) and Value Added Tax (VAT/e-Faktur)

• Prepare and review Monthly and Annual Tax Return (SPT Masa and SPT Tahunan)

• Prepare monthly CIT provision

• Prepare and file corporate income tax reporting (CIT) return

• Issuing withholding tax slip (bukti potong / e-butot) and distribute them to counterparty

• Assist with tax audits and examinations, external audits, and coordinate directly with the Indonesian Tax Office (KPP/DJP) to resolve tax related matters

• Support tax audit, respond to SP2DK and manage correspondence with tax office

• Monitor and stay updated on the latest Indonesian tax regulations

What we seek

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• A minimum of 4 years experience as Tax Accountant or similar role (experienced from the - same industry or from Tax Consultant Company is preferred)

• Brevet A & B

• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian taxation

• Familiar with tax and accounting software and systems (Coretax system / Xero / Netsuite)

• Good understanding of MS Office
