Job summary

PT Infineon Technologies Batam is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer UnitProcess Engineering to drive advanced manufacturing in our cleanroom environment. You will deliver cost, yield, and reliability improvements through innovation and cross-functional collaboration, shaping next-generation semiconductor processes.

You will lead complex troubleshooting, develop standard process documentation (SOPs, PFMEA, control plans), and drive task forces to optimize electroplating and chemical-control

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Knowledge of electroplating fundamentals, chemical control, and process optimization.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, and structured problem-solving (8D/DMAIC).

Responsibilities

• Deliver measurable cost, yield, and reliability improvements through innovation, supplier collaboration, and continuous improvement projects.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause investigations for defects and customer escalations using 8D/DMAIC.
• Develop and standardize process documentation and controls (SOPs, control plans, PFMEA, reaction plans, specs).
• Drive task force and focus teams.
