Job summary

PT Indo Online Mitra Usaha (Vox Asia) is seeking a software engineer to design, build and evolve applications using C#, ASP.NET Core and Python, including LLM-based functionality. You will work across .NET and Python to deliver modern backend systems.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of professional software development experience, strong C#/.NET, Python, REST APIs, and experience with EF Core, SQL and Git CI/CD. English fluency is required, and familiarity with AI-enabled workflows is a plus.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, dependency injection, SOLID principles, clean architecture, asynchronous programming, and distributed application design.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ and SQL.
• Experience designing and integrating web APIs and external services.
• Good understanding of testing, debugging and production troubleshooting.
• Experience working with Git, CI/CD and modern development workflows.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Practical experience building applications using LLMs is particularly desirable.

You will help design, build and evolve applications using C#, ASP.NET Core and Python, including systems that incorporate AI and LLM-based functionality. We are looking for an experienced software engineer who is comfortable working across .NET and Python and is interested in building modern applications that integrate LLMs, conversational AI, search and AI-assisted workflows.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services using C# / ASP.NET Core.

Develop supporting services and AI-related components in Python.

Build and integrate LLM-powered chat and assistant functionality.

Work with LLM APIs and frameworks

Design APIs and integrations between .NET services, Python services and external platforms.

Work with relational databases such as SQL Server/PostgreSQL and search technologies such as Elasticsearch.

Use modern AI-assisted development tools effectively as part of the software development lifecycle, with the understanding that you are the owner of your produced code.

About you

4+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong professional experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.

Practical development experience with Python.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, dependency injection, SOLID principles, clean architecture, asynchronous programming, and distributed application design.

Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ and SQL.

Experience designing and integrating web APIs and external services.

Good understanding of testing, debugging and production troubleshooting.

Experience working with Git, CI/CD and modern development workflows.

Strong written and spoken English.

Practical experience building applications using LLMs is particularly desirable. (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic or similar LLM APIs, LLM chat applications)

Experience with tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT or similar coding assistants is valuable.
