Job summary

Glints in Batam, Indonesia seeks a senior security engineer with strong cloud security, cyber operations, and vulnerability management experience to strengthen security across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will own the vulnerability management lifecycle, automate patching, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate with infra and application teams to remediate vulnerabilities. Lead security projects including IAM automation and AI security initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 12 years of tech experience with at least 8 years in cyber security in regulated environments.
• Experience with vulnerability management, EOL remediation, patching processes, cyber monitoring, and AI security.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containers/K8s.
• Hands-on scripting (Python/Shell) and API integration with dashboards (Power BI) and automation (Power Automate).
• Experience as a developer/DevOps/SRE is a plus.
• Familiarity with MAS TRM or similar regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication with ability to explain risks, severity, and remediation actions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle from assessment to closure validation.
• Automate security patching across platforms and manage EOL risks.
• Conduct threat-based security assessments and deviation analysis.
• Collaborate with infra, cloud, and application teams to investigate and remediate security issues.
• Lead security projects including automation for patching and IAM.
• Assess and implement secure AI and automation technologies.
