Job summary

Glints is seeking a hands-on Principal Analyst – Security Operations to strengthen security posture across on‑prem and cloud environments. You’ll own vulnerability remediation, patch management, EOL risk, and security automation while guiding incident response and controls.

You’ll collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams, develop automation scripts in Python/Shell/PowerShell, and improve security dashboards and reporting to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7–15 years of relevant technical experience, including hands‑on cybersecurity in regulated industries.
• Strong hands‑on experience in vulnerability management, patching, EOL remediation, and security operations.
• Practical scripting and automation using Python, Shell, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, plus containers, Kubernetes, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end security patching lifecycle and remediation of vulnerabilities and EOL risks.
• Assess vulnerabilities based on threat intel, severity, business impact, and regs.
• Develop and enhance security automation scripts and workflows.
• Improve security dashboards and reporting using JIRA, Power BI, Power Automate, and APIs.
• Track security metrics, reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Review deviation requests, assess risks, and suggest mitigations.
• Support automation, patching, and IAM initiatives in security ops.
• Collaborate with infra, application, and security teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure processes align with internal security standards and regulatory requirements.
