TOG Indonesia is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team in Indonesia. You will lead threat analysis, incident response, and security monitoring, coordinating timely mitigation efforts across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of NGFWs, SIEM platforms, and secure architecture practices. The role requires leadership and the ability to work under pressure during incidents.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, cybersecurity or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in security engineering or related role.

Descripción del empleo

1. Education and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Security Engineer, Information Security Specialist, or in a related cybersecurity role.
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading a Security Engineering or Security Operations Center (SOC) team, managing security monitoring schedules, and overseeing threat mitigation activities.

2. Technical Qualifications

• Network and System Security: Strong knowledge of security architecture and network protection technologies, including IDS/IPS, Web Application Firewall (WAF), VPN, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Infrastructure and Operating Systems: Good understanding of security hardening best practices for network infrastructure, data centers, cloud environments, and operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux.
• Security Tools and Technologies: Hands-on experience configuring and managing Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), such as Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, or Cisco Firepower; SIEM platforms, such as Splunk, QRadar, or Wazuh; and vulnerability assessment tools, such as Nessus or Qualys.
• Threat Analysis and Incident Response: Strong capabilities in advanced threat analysis, threat hunting, security troubleshooting, and leading incident response activities to investigate, contain, and mitigate cybersecurity incidents.

3. Professional Certifications

• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are preferred, including:
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Vendor-specific security certifications, such as Fortinet NSE 4/7, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, or Cisco CCNP Security.

4. Soft Skills and Other Qualifications

• Strong analytical, digital forensics, and cybersecurity problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Ability to prepare clear and well-structured technical documentation and security incident reports.
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of company information and sensitive data.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly during cybersecurity incidents, and willingness to provide on-call support for emergency security incidents on a 24/7 basis.
