Job summary

SAGARA Technology is seeking a Security Engineer to secure infrastructure and systems in Jakarta. You will proactively identify vulnerabilities, ensure compliance with UU PDP and internal standards, and report remediation progress.

The role emphasizes log analysis, security remediation, and system hardening to protect critical assets. You will review audit trails, formulate remediation plans, track progress, and collaborate with teams to close security gaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, or SOC.
• Proficient in analyzing system, database, application, and network logs.
• Understanding of log retention and log integrity (hashing/WORM) and UU PDP.
• Hands-on experience with IAM/RBAC, Network Security Group/WAF, OS/Container hardening (CIS Benchmarks), system patching, and data encryption (TLS/AES).
• Familiarity with remediation ticketing tools like Jira or GitLab Issues.

Responsibilities

This role requires strong technical expertise in log analysis, security remediation, and system hardening.

• Perform technical remediation to address identified security gaps and vulnerabilities.
• Develop technical remediation plans for identified security threats and findings.

Requirements
