PT Tekno Gemilang Indonesia (TOG Indonesia) is seeking a Security Engineer in Jakarta Pusat to strengthen our cybersecurity capabilities. You will monitor networks, investigate incidents, and lead threat mitigation efforts in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, hands-on expertise with NGFWs, SIEMs, and incident response, and demonstrates leadership abilities to guide an SOC team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in IT/CS/IS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years as Security Engineer/SOC or related cybersecurity role.
• Proven experience leading a Security Engineering or SOC team.

Description du poste

• Education: Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Security Engineer, Information Security Specialist, or in a related cybersecurity role.
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading a Security Engineering or Security Operations Center (SOC) team, managing security monitoring schedules, and overseeing threat mitigation activities.

2. Technical Qualifications

• Network and System Security: Strong knowledge of security architecture and network protection technologies, including IDS/IPS, Web Application Firewall (WAF), VPN, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Infrastructure and Operating Systems: Good understanding of security hardening best practices for network infrastructure, data centers, cloud environments, and operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux.
• Security Tools and Technologies: Hands-on experience configuring and managing Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), such as Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, or Cisco Firepower; SIEM platforms, such as Splunk, QRadar, or Wazuh; and vulnerability assessment tools, such as Nessus or Qualys.
• Threat Analysis and Incident Response: Strong capabilities in advanced threat analysis, threat hunting, security troubleshooting, and leading incident response activities to investigate, contain, and mitigate cybersecurity incidents.

3. Professional Certifications

• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are preferred, including:
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Vendor-specific security certifications, such as Fortinet NSE 4/7, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, or Cisco CCNP Security.

4. Soft Skills and Other Qualifications

• Strong analytical, digital forensics, and cybersecurity problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Ability to prepare clear and well-structured technical documentation and security incident reports.
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of company information and sensitive data.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly during cybersecurity incidents, and willingness to provide on-call support for emergency security incidents on a 24/7 basis.
