Job summary

Arest is looking for a qualified individual to design and implement complex mechatronic systems. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree with a solid foundation in mechanical or mechatronics engineering and extensive experience in automation engineering.

Key responsibilities include generating and analyzing data, troubleshooting robotic systems, and collaborating on innovative technology development. Strong skills in CAD tools, microcontrollers, and programming languages are required. The position is based in Semarang, with a possibility to work in Salatiga as project needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in mechanical or mechatronics.
• Minimum 5 years experience in mechatronics or automation engineering.
• Experience in building fully automated machines is essential.
• Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM tools like SolidWorks or Onshape is a plus.
• Proficient in CNC machining.
• Expertise in mechanical engineering for high precision robotics.
• Experience with microcontrollers and their components.
• Proficient in programming languages like Python, C++, and C#.
• Detail-oriented, tactful, and a fast learner.
• Possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Excellent creativity and logic.
• Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Willing to work in Salatiga or Semarang based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex systems including architectural design.
• Generate and analyze data for systems.
• Solve design challenges and troubleshoot automation and robotic systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and risk analysis for investigations.
• Collaborate on innovation and technology development.
• Develop test methods and create documentation for validation activities.
• Generate test protocols and reports for products.
