World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia seeks a Senior Research Lead for Extended Producer Responsibilities (EPR) for packaging to lead the technical development and delivery of a research package. The role oversees research design, implementation, analysis, and writing across three workstreams, coordinating with government ministries, private sector, and research partners.

The position requires a Master’s degree (PhD preferred) and at least 8 years of relevant experience in research, policy

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in applied research, policy analysis, or circular economy.
• Strong understanding of EPR policy and packaging systems.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary research and coordinating teams.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English; willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Lead three research workstreams from design to delivery.
• Develop analytical framework, indicators, and data collection instruments.
• Coordinate methods across workstreams and stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, transparent assumptions, and validation.
• Oversee writing and finalization of technical knowledge products.
• Engage with government, private sector, and civil society.
