Job summary

AGPR Law Firm is seeking a Senior Associate for the Regulatory and Project Practice Group in Jakarta. The role focuses on managing client matters, delivering high-quality advisory and transactional work, and supervising junior lawyers.

You will collaborate with Partners and clients on complex matters and guide the team to ensure efficient execution. The ideal candidate holds a law degree with strong drafting, research, and regulatory expertise, plus a PERADI license and 6+ years of experience in

Qualifications

• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Bachelor's degree in Law (Sarjana Hukum) from a reputable Indonesian university, with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in a law firm, preferably in regulatory, infrastructure, projects, energy, or related practice areas.
• Valid PERADI license.
• Strong legal drafting, writing, analytical, and research skills.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian laws and regulations, particularly in relevant regulatory and project-related areas.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage legal matters and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Leading the drafting, reviewing, and revising of legal documents, including agreements, contracts, memoranda, legal opinions, and other legal documents;
• Conducting and overseeing legal research and analysis on complex legal and regulatory issues;
• Managing and coordinating client matters, including liaising directly with clients;
• Participating in and leading internal meetings, client discussions, negotiations, and presentations;
• Reviewing and supervising work prepared by Middle and Junior Associates to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency;
• Supporting Partners in developing legal strategies and managing client relationships;
• Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of assigned matters and project deliverables in accordance with agreed deadlines.
