Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a seasoned Software Quality Assurance / Testing Engineer to ensure design and software meet company standards throughout development. The role collaborates with stakeholders to execute exploratory and automated testing for product quality across releases.

Responsibilities

• Works across multiple teams to ensure the planning, execution, reporting, and successful completion of QA activities for all new development cycles for various releases.
• Contributes to Agile-related user story review meetings and/or work with relevant business stakeholders and developers to understand the new or modified application functionality.
• Networks with the required user community to understand business requirements and uphold quality of each release by ensuring comprehensive end-to-end testing coverage.
• Designs and implements end‑to‑end test scenarios, as well as debugging and defining corrective actions.
• Performs risk analysis and documents test progress and results; conducts thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Reviews requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback.
• Creates detailed, comprehensive, and well‑structured test plans and test cases.
• Designs, develops, codes, and executes automation scripts.
• Tracks bugs and applies testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Develops standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
• Contributes recommendations to enable innovation and streamline testing processes.
• Documents QA processes and promotes continuous improvement in Agile Scrum development.
