Job summary

DayOne is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance across construction and data centre projects. The role involves developing QA/QC plans, conducting detailed inspections, and coordinating CAPAs with project teams to ensure compliance with codes and design specifications.

The candidate should have a civil/mechanical/electrical background, with experience in MEP and knowledge of ISO 9001/ASTM standards. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Certification in Quality Management (CQM, CQE) may be advantageous.
• Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in construction or data centre projects.
• Knowledge of MEP is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and quality standards.
• Proficiency in quality control testing and inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASTM and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans and procedures for construction projects.
• Perform inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and installations.
• Document NCRs and coordinate CAPAs with project teams.
• Maintain records of inspections, tests, and audits.
• Prepare quality reports and progress metrics for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
• Provide guidance and training on quality standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with third‑party inspectors and testing agencies.
