Job summary

ITEAM Bulgaria Ltd. is seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to join our client-facing team, working with colleagues in Bulgaria and the Netherlands on complex software systems.

You will design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines, REST APIs, and Azure-based data platforms while collaborating with analytics teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on developing Python-based web applications and REST APIs (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Strong knowledge of OOP, ORM, SQL, and data processing using Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, or similar tools.
• Experience building secure, scalable applications and optimizing performance.
• Understanding of Big data technologies and Data engineering practices.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services, including Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and storage solutions.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and distributed/Cloud computing environments.
• Previous experience in Data Engineering, preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem.
