Star Energy Geothermal is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and control of multidisciplinary capital projects that support our geothermal operations and growth ambitions.

The role requires coordinating across Engineering, Operations, Drilling, and Supply Chain, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget, with proactive risk management and transparent reporting to stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• 6–10 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, controls, or related multidisciplinary capital-project execution.
• Experience in geothermal, oil and gas, mining, or power generation industries is preferred.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, advanced Excel, and SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain integrated, logic-driven project schedules.
• Convert Bills of Quantities into Work Breakdown Structures, milestones, resource plans, and critical paths.
• Coordinate schedules across Engineering, Operations, Drilling, Supply Chain, and contractors.
• Track progress against baselines and provide early warning of risks and variances.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and spending forecasts.

Great projects begin with disciplined planning and clear visibility from start to finish. Join Star Energy Geothermal as our Senior Project Engineer and help plan and control the multidisciplinary capital projects that support our geothermal operations and future growth.

In this role, you will lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, procurement planning, resource planning, and performance reporting. You will coordinate across Engineering, Operations, Drilling, Supply Chain Management, contractors, and other stakeholders to keep projects safe, on schedule, within budget, and ready for execution.

Job Description

• Develop and maintain integrated, logic-driven project schedules.
• Convert Bills of Quantities into Work Breakdown Structures, milestones, resource plans, and critical paths.
• Coordinate schedules across Engineering, Operations, Drilling, Supply Chain Management, and contractors.
• Track progress against baselines and provide early warning of risks, delays, and performance variances.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, spending forecasts, and annual work plans.
• Lead annual procurement and material planning activities.
• Plan shutdowns and maintenance campaigns while coordinating with drilling, construction, and operations.
• Conduct critical-path and schedule-risk analyses and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Prepare dashboards, S-curves, status reports, and executive summaries.
• Coordinate manpower, contractor mobilization, equipment allocation, and execution readiness.
• Standardize planning methods, templates, and lessons learned across projects.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• 6–10 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, project controls, cost control, shutdown planning, brownfield projects, or multidisciplinary capital-project execution.
• Experience in geothermal, oil and gas, mining, power generation, or a similar industry.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, advanced Microsoft Excel, and SAP.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, contractor coordination, resource planning, and project-performance reporting.
• Understanding of drilling interfaces and geothermal operating challenges, including geohazards.
• PMP® certification is preferred; other relevant planning, scheduling, project-control, or construction certifications are an advantage.
