We’re Hiring: Senior Project Engineer

Star Energy Geothermal is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to play a key role in delivering construction packages, supporting commissioning and startup readiness, and ensuring successful brownfield project execution across geothermal operating assets.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading field implementation, coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary stakeholders, managing operational interfaces, and supporting project handover to ensure construction packages are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead construction execution and field implementation activities for assigned construction packages.
- Coordinate contractors, operations, engineering, commissioning teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Support brownfield implementation and facility integration while minimizing operational disruption.
- Oversee construction safety, quality, documentation, progress measurement, and completion records.
- Lead commissioning coordination, startup readiness, operational acceptance, and project handover.
- Identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities to enhance future project delivery.
General Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering relevant to the assigned discipline, such as Electrical, Instrument & Control, Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in engineering, construction, commissioning, startup, brownfield project execution, or infrastructure development.
- Experience in geothermal, oil and gas, mining, power generation, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of brownfield construction, contractor management, commissioning, startup, operational interface management, construction safety, and project execution processes.
- Relevant engineering or construction certifications, such as POP, PMP, or construction-related certifications, are preferred.
Competency Qualification
- Able to analyze field execution challenges, identify practical solutions, and make sound technical recommendations based on project, safety, and operational requirements.
- Demonstrates strong ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor construction, commissioning, and handover activities across contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Able to work effectively in brownfield environments by balancing project delivery needs with safe and reliable plant operations.
- Communicates clearly with internal users, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to align expectations, resolve issues, and maintain project progress.
- Proactively captures lessons learned, identifies improvement opportunities, and contributes to better project delivery practices.
