Job summary

Siemens is seeking a senior Power Systems Engineer to lead and execute complex grid studies in Indonesia. You will develop automated workflows using PSS E, PSCAD, and PSS SINCAL, while building Python tools for data processing, batch simulations, and reporting.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver high-impact studies. Ideal candidates hold a PhD or MS in Power Systems, with 7+ years of experience in dynamic studies, renewables, and automation of simulation

Qualifications

Doctoral or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Systems.
Strong analytical capabilities in power system analysis and dynamics.
Experience with renewable energy integration and grid studies.

Responsibilities

Lead and review PTI project studies for Utility and Industry.
Develop and automate power system simulation workflows using PSS E/PSCAD/PSS SINCAL.
Execute technical studies: load flow, time-series, dynamic, stability, and renewables.
Build Python-based tools for data prep, batch runs, and reporting.
Prepare model conversions across simulation environments and validate results.
Collaborate with project manager and power system engineers to deliver outcomes.
Create technical reports and client-facing materials.
