Job summary

Mastercard in Jakarta is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead client engagements and oversee a portfolio of strategic programs with significant impact. You will drive planning, risk management, and benefits realization across multiple industries, guiding complex initiatives from initiation to value delivery.

You will mentor teams, apply proven project and change management methods, and build strong relationships with mid-level to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with work experience in project management and change management.
• 6+ years of Project Management experience.
• Exposure to financial institutions, payments, and/or consultancies.
• Experience coaching and managing teams across multiple projects and/or engagements with third parties.
• Experience managing key client relationships.
• Knowledge of business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership.
• Ability to provide perspective on industry and marketplace.
• Logical, structured thinking.
• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local office language (if applicable).
• Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs.
• Ability to travel to client sites on a semi-regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and workstreams for large enterprise-level programs across a range of industries, problem statements, and cultures.
• Promote proven, accredited project and change management methodologies and techniques to help clients drive measurable value from initiation to benefit realization.
• Mitigate risks, solve issues, and ensure plan remains in line with agreed timescales, budgets, and quality criteria.
• Identify new business opportunities and communicate to executives to pursue, leading sales calls and client development including proposal contribution.
• Own key relationships with mid-level to senior client stakeholders and independently assess client agenda, internal culture, and change readiness.
• Lead team to creative insights and sound business recommendations, and deliver impactful and influential client presentations while growing team members’ roles and skills.
• Provide expertise and day-to-day project delivery team leadership, supporting evolution of solutions with innovation and create a collaborative and inclusive environment for all levels.
• Manage relationship with internal Mastercard leadership and stakeholders and build the firm's intellectual capital.
• Effectively leverage subject matter experts to develop best customized solutions.
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members, including evaluating performance, and providing feedback.
