Job summary

Indonesia Defence Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead industrial/project management initiatives in Jakarta. You will develop plans, manage budgets, schedules, HSSE compliance, and coordinate engineers, procurement, construction, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 8+ years of PM experience, strong leadership, stakeholder management, and excellent English. PMP is a plus; MS Office proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction/project management, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing project schedule, budget, quality, HSSE, and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, and contract management.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, HSE, QA/QC, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, cost, quality, and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, HSSE requirements, and Permit to Work procedures.
• Manage project risks, delays, changes, claims, and contract matters.
• Coordinate with owners, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Lead project teams, set targets, and monitor team performance.
• Manage testing, commissioning, handover, punch list, and project close-out documentation.
• Provide regular project progress reports and recommendations to management.
