Job summary

RINA Piraeus Team is seeking an Offshore Detailed Design Structural Engineer with extensive subsea and offshore structural engineering expertise to work on Indonesia-based projects. The role requires over 15 years of experience in subsea design, deepwater facilities, and advanced FEA capabilities.

The candidate will review engineering packages, reports, and installation deliverables, acting as the technical focal point for EPCI Contractors and liaising with MWS and classification authorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in subsea and offshore structural engineering.
• Advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) capability.
• Experience reviewing and validating Detailed Engineering Packages, Structural Design Reports, and Installation Engineering Deliverables.
• Strong technical knowledge of SURF, SPS, Manifolds and Mooring Systems.
• Experience serving as the technical focal point for EPCI Contractors.
• Proven track record in Design Approval and Technical Query Resolution.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical focal point for EPCI Contractors for offshore projects.
• Review and validate Detailed Engineering Packages, Structural Design Reports and installation deliverables.
• Coordinate with Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS) and Classification & Certifying Authorities.
• Assist in design approvals and QA processes for offshore structures.
• Support transport, lifting, and offshore installation approval processes.
