Job summary

Sherman Mineral Indonesia seeks an ESG-focused professional to protect the environment in the mining area, assist in environmental monitoring, and oversee ESG data reporting.

You will coordinate with communities and government bodies, plan CSR initiatives, and ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• College degree or above in environmental engineering, safety management, sociology, public administration or related fields is preferred.
• Candidates with ESG, community relations, and environmental management experience in mining, agriculture, or industrial projects are preferred.
• Familiar with environmental protection regulations, mining supervision requirements in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Protect the environment in the mining area and assist in environmental monitoring and compliance inspections.
• Coordinate with communities, villages and stakeholders around the mining area to maintain good community relations.
• Assist in connecting with relevant government departments and follow up on approvals and reporting related to ESG, safety and community affairs.
• Plan, organize and implement CSR projects and track project execution status.
• Collect, organize and report ESG-related data to support management.

Job description

Responsible for environmental protection in the mining area, assist in conducting environmental monitoring, environmental management and environmental compliance inspections.

Responsible for communication and coordination with communities, villages and related stakeholders around the mining area to maintain good community relations.

Assist in connecting with relevant government departments, and follow up on the approval and reporting work related to environmental protection, safety and community affairs.

Responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects, and tracking the project execution status.

Responsible for the collection, organization and report compilation of ESG-related data, providing support to the company's management.

ESG Job Requirements:

College degree or above, majoring in environmental engineering, safety management, sociology, public administration or related fields is preferred.

Candidates with relevant experience in ESG, community relations, and environmental management in mining, agriculture, or industrial projects are preferred.

Familiar with environmental protection regulations, mining supervision requirements and community relations management in Indonesia.

Good communication skills in Indonesian are required. Those who can use English for daily work are preferred.

Possess strong communication and coordination skills as well as a spirit of teamwork, and be able to adapt to the working environment in the mining area.
