Cekat.Ai is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in product design to join their fully remote team. You will drive the design and development of next-generation mechanical products, from concept to launch, leveraging your CAD/CAE expertise and prototyping skills.

The role requires a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years of experience, with a strong focus on 3D CAD modeling and DFM/DFA.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in mechanical product design.
• Expertise in 3D CAD modeling and simulation software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, ANSYS).
• Strong understanding of material selection, manufacturing processes, and DFM/ DFA principles.
• Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of innovative mechanical products and components.
• Utilize CAD/CAE tools for detailed design, simulation, and optimization.
• Oversee prototyping and testing phases, ensuring designs meet performance specifications.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, industrial designers, and manufacturing engineers in a remote setting.
• Develop and maintain design documentation, including technical drawings and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
