Job summary

Botsync is seeking a Remote Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a robotics focus to lead the design of next‑gen robotic platforms from home. You will drive concept to production, partnering with distributed software, hardware, and control teams to deliver elegant, robust mechanical solutions.

You will use 3D CAD tools and FE analysis to validate designs, develop BOMs, and iterate based on performance feedback.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with robotics/mechatronics focus.
• 8+ years of professional mechanical design experience, with 4+ years in robotics/automation.
• Proven ability to design complex mechanisms, actuators, and structural components for robotics.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development of robotic platforms, manipulators, and end-effectors from concept to production.
• Design and optimize robotic components for precision, strength, and efficiency, including lightweighting strategies.
• Use CAD and simulation tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS) to model, analyze, and validate designs.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and control engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
