Job summary

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role at pt talenta eksekutif asia is on-site in Salatiga, Central Java, Indonesia. You will lead end-to-end development of high-precision special-purpose machines and automation systems, from concept through commissioning, using data-driven methods.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, perform analyses, create CAD models, drawings, and BOMs, and ensure fabrication and verification meet quality and production standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Strong background in mechanical design and precision moving systems.
• Hands-on experience in designing complete machines and automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom special-purpose machines from concept to production.
• Perform analyses, feasibility studies, and cost estimation for new products.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation using SolidWorks or Onshape.
• Design precision mechanical systems, motion mechanisms, and robotic components with high accuracy.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Software, Automation, and Firmware teams to integrate mechatronic systems.
• Support prototype development, assembly, testing, and validation throughout the lifecycle.
• Work with in-house fabrication and workshop teams during fabrication and verification.
• Monitor timelines, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure deliverables meet standards.
