Senior Managing Consultant, Consult Partner

As a Senior Managing Consultant, Consult Partner at Kyndryl, you’ll work with senior executives to define strategic priorities, unlock new opportunities, and turn complex technology decisions into measurable business outcomes. You’ll bring together deep industry insight, technology expertise, and consulting leadership to become a trusted advisor to our customers. From understanding their most critical business challenges to shaping transformation agendas and defining the path forward, you’ll help customers navigate complexity and make confident decisions across cloud, infrastructure, applications, AI, modernization, and emerging technologies. This is a senior client-facing leadership role that goes beyond providing recommendations. You’ll shape opportunities, build executive relationships, lead multidisciplinary teams, and guide complex engagements from strategy through execution. You’ll also play an important role in growing Kyndryl Consult by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing relationships, and bringing the best of Kyndryl together to solve our customers’ most important challenges.

Key responsibilities

Shape strategic transformation agendas by partnering with senior executives to understand their business priorities, assess their current environment, and define technology strategies, target-state visions, and transformation roadmaps that deliver measurable outcomes

Build trusted CXO relationships by establishing credibility with senior customer stakeholders, challenging thinking constructively, and becoming a trusted advisor on complex business and technology decisions

Create and grow consulting opportunities by identifying and shaping new opportunities within existing and prospective customers, building compelling value propositions, and helping convert strategic conversations into sustainable consulting engagements

Lead complex consulting engagements by taking ownership of multidisciplinary engagements from initial discovery and solution shaping through execution, balancing customer outcomes with scope, risk, commercial objectives, quality, and delivery

Navigate complexity and ambiguity by bringing structure to complex business and technology challenges, reconciling competing stakeholder priorities, and creating a clear path forward where requirements or outcomes may not yet be fully defined

Advise on technology and modernization by guiding customers through strategic choices across cloud, infrastructure, applications, AI, virtualization, containers, and emerging technologies, connecting technology investments to broader business priorities

Mobilize and inspire multidisciplinary teams by bringing together consultants, architects, delivery leaders, technical specialists, and ecosystem partners to create integrated solutions and deliver transformation at scale

Strengthen Kyndryl Consult by contributing to growth and market presence through developing thought leadership, methodologies, reusable assets, and points of view while sharing insights and lessons learned across the consulting community

About you

Significant experience with a Big 4 consulting firm, leading management/technology consultancy, or IT professional services organization, with a strong track record in IT strategy, technology transformation, and complex consulting engagements

Proven ability to engage, advise, and influence CXO and senior executive stakeholders, establish trusted-advisor relationships, and translate business priorities into strategic technology agendas

Demonstrated experience in identifying, shaping, and developing consulting opportunities, including strategic discovery, value proposition development, solution shaping, scoping, and supporting commercial discussions

Broad expertise across multiple technology domains, such as cloud, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, applications, AI, automation, data, IT operations, and modernization, with depth in several areas and the ability to connect technology decisions to business outcomes

Strong experience in IT strategy and transformation, including current-state assessments, target-state definition, IT operating models, enterprise architecture, transformation roadmaps, and technology investment prioritization

Proven ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary consulting engagements, bringing together consultants, architects, technical specialists, and delivery teams while managing scope, risk, quality, commercial considerations, and customer outcomes

Strong commercial and analytical acumen, including experience developing business cases, ROI and TCO assessments, structuring complex problems, and translating analysis into clear executive recommendations and actionable roadmaps

Exceptional leadership, executive communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with experience leading senior stakeholder workshops, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities, and mobilizing teams to deliver complex transformation outcomes
