Job summary

Byd Indonesia in Bogor, West Java, seeks a Senior Litigation Lawyer to lead its civil and commercial litigation practice. You will manage cases from inception to resolution, develop strategic arguments, and represent clients in Indonesian courts across all levels. The role requires 8+ years of progressive litigation experience, a valid Peradi license, and a master’s degree (LL.M.

preferred). You will mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the firm’s growth through strong negotiation and client

Qualifications

• LL.M. preferred or equivalent.
• Licensed and in good standing with Peradi.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive civil and commercial litigation experience.
• Demonstrated success in trial advocacy and courtroom procedure.
• Expertise in legal research, brief writing, and complex legal analysis.
• Exceptional negotiation and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, overseeing all aspects of case preparation and strategy.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct depositions, draft motions, and prepare witnesses for trial.
• Analyze legal issues, develop compelling arguments, and present cases effectively.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals within the litigation team.
• Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and procedural rules affecting litigation in Bogor.
