Job summary

GoTo Financial is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own the ML lifecycle—from ideation to monitoring—for credit risk models supporting Cicil and Pinjam products.

You will collaborate with product and business teams to translate challenges into scalable, production-ready solutions, and document model goals, evaluation, and results for leadership.

This role requires a STEM degree and at least 3 years of hands-on risk modeling experience, plus strong Python, SQL, and UNIX Shell skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in statistics, mathematics, physics, computer science, or similar.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in building, evaluating, and monitoring credit risk models.
• Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and UNIX Shell.
• Translate business concerns into technical problems solvable with data and math/stat/ML.
• Self-driven, entrepreneurial with ownership and fast-paced adaptability.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Write model documentation clearly with research-backed recommendations.

Responsibilities
