Job summary

Grab is hiring for an experienced iOS engineer to design, build, and operate secure, reliable, and well-tested software systems. You will partner with product, design, and backend teams, mentoring others and improving engineering practices.

This role is based fully on-site in Jakarta and reports to the Engineering Manager. You will work on iOS SDK capabilities, performance improvements, and platform integrations, contributing to design reviews and incident response while helping drive

Qualifications

Min. 4 years of professional iOS development experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Knowledge of iOS architecture, lifecycle, concurrency, networking, and performance.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain iOS SDK capabilities and APIs.
Improve reliability, performance, security, observability, and backward compatibility.
Drive cross-platform parity by defining contracts and experiences.
Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural reviews and best practices.
Collaborate with product, design, QA, and partner teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
