Job summary

Pt Repex Wahana is seeking an Insurance Risk Manager to oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across the organization, ensuring regulatory compliance and safeguarding assets. This on-site role requires close collaboration with underwriting, claims, and legal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree with 7+ years in risk management, demonstrates leadership, analytical acumen, and a proven track record in enterprise-wide programs, and can influence stakeholders

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management, preferably in insurance.
• Strong understanding of insurance operations, financial markets, and regulatory environments.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide risk management programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities with capacity to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks and policies for the insurance business.
• Identify, analyze, and prioritize potential risks, including financial, operational, and strategic risks.
• Design and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, working closely with department heads.
• Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance regulations and reporting requirements.
• Prepare regular reports on risk exposure and mitigation efforts for senior management and the board.
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to evaluate risk controls and identify areas for improvement.
