Job summary

KPMG Indonesia is expanding its Insurance Audit & Assurance team, seeking Senior Associate and Assistant Manager level professionals with strong external audit experience in the insurance sector. The role involves leading engagements, ensuring quality work, and developing teams.

Responsibilities include planning, risk assessment, reviewing financial statements, and addressing IFRS 17 and regulatory matters while maintaining client relationships and contributing to the growth of the insurance

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of external audit experience for Senior; 5+ years for Assistant Manager.
Strong external audit experience in the insurance sector.
Good understanding of insurance products, business models, and industry risks.
Familiarity with OJK regulations and regulatory reporting for insurance.
Excellent knowledge of auditing standards, IFRS 17 and financial reporting.
CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Manage audit engagements for insurance clients.
Lead engagement planning, risk assessment, execution, completion and reporting.
Review financial statements, audit documentation, and significant accounting judgments.
Address IFRS 17 and other insurance accounting and regulatory matters.
Coordinate with client management, actuarial specialists, and engagement stakeholders.
Coach and develop engagement team members and ensure quality audits.
