Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for a Purwakarta-based construction project in Indonesia. You will lead 20–30 HSE personnel, developing and enforcing project safety plans to meet Indonesian regulations and company standards.

The role requires hands-on EPC project experience, strong leadership, and the ability to drive safety culture, risk control, and training across all activities. Fluency in English is expected; Mandarin is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of HSE experience in Construction or EPC projects.
• At least 5 years in HSE managerial roles.
• Proven leadership of 20+ HSE personnel.
• Certification such as Ahli K3 Umum or Ahli K3 Konstruksi.
• Proficiency in Indonesian occupational safety regulations (SMK3).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE plans, policies and objectives across construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian occupational safety regulations (SMK3) and project-specific standards.
• Lead 20–30 HSE personnel with clear responsibilities and consistent enforcement.
• Oversee HIRADC, JSA, PTW, and preventive measures for high-risk activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and HSE audits to identify hazards and violations.
• Lead investigations of accidents and incidents, establish root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage safety for high-risk activities including working at heights, lifting, electrical works, and confined spaces.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, drills, and training programs.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering teams, contractors, and authorities on HSE implementation.
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reports; enforce safety regulations.
