Job summary

MatchaTalent seeks an experienced HSE Manager to lead all Health, Safety & Environment activities at a Purwakarta construction site in Indonesia. You will establish and sustain a robust safety culture, oversee a team of 20–30 personnel, and ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations and company policies throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in relevant field required.
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in construction/EPC.
• At least 5 years in HSE managerial or leadership roles.
• Proven track record leading 20+ HSE personnel on-site.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian HSE regulations, SMK3 and compliance requirements.
• Experience with HIRADC, JSA, PTW, inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management plans and safety objectives for construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian safety regulations, SMK3 and project standards.
• Lead and evaluate 20–30 HSE personnel with clear roles and enforcement of safety procedures.
• Oversee HIRADC, JSA, PTW, and preventive measures for high-risk activities.
• Conduct site inspections and HSE audits to identify hazards and improvements.
• Lead investigations of accidents and near misses; implement corrective actions.
• Manage high-risk activities including working at heights, lifting, heavy equipment, electrical works, confined spaces.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, training, drills, and awareness programs.
