Job summary

PT. Permata Prima Enjiniring Elektrika is seeking an experienced QA/QC Electrical specialist for HV/EHV substation projects in Indonesia.

You will supervise inspection, testing, and documentation of 150kV cables, transformers, switchgear, and control systems, ensuring compliance with IPC/IEC standards. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong ability to interpret SLDs and drawings, and proven leadership in field QA/QC teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems/Heavy Current).
• 3–5 years as QA/QC Electrical in HV/EHV substations.
• SKTTK or equivalent certification.
• Electrical/OHS (K3 Electrical) certification.
• Knowledge of IEC/IEEE/PUIL/ANSI codes and standards.
• Ability to read SLDs, wiring diagrams, and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• High Voltage & Cable Inspection: supervise installation and testing of 150kV cables and grounding.
• Main Equipment Installation & Testing: QA/QC for transformers, switchgear, control panels.
• Control Building Systems QA/QC: inspect CCTV, lighting, fire protection, piping.
• Civil & Mechanical Interface Checks: inspect foundations, trenches, penetrations.
• Material Receiving & Verification: IWQ for electrical equipment and cables.
• NCR & Defect Management: raise NCRs and verify corrective actions.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain QA/QC logs and handover dossiers.
• HSE & Standard Compliance: enforce HV safety protocols during live tests.
• Stakeholder Coordination: coordinate with PM, site managers, subs, inspectors.
• ITP Development & Execution: prepare ITPs and checklists for 150kV tests.
