Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science (or related field) with 3+ years of actuarial experience and ASAI/FSI certification, plus strong English and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in actuarial, pricing, or health insurance underwriting.
• ASAI or FSAI certification is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate actuarial insights and recommendations effectively to management and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform actuarial analysis, premium calculations, and risk assessments for health insurance products.
• Review and evaluate pricing assumptions, underwriting guidelines, and risk factors to support sound business decisions.
• Analyze claims experience, portfolio performance, and loss ratios to evaluate product profitability and recommend appropriate rate adjustments.
• Develop, review, and maintain actuarial models, pricing methodologies, and assumptions for new and existing products.
• Provide actuarial recommendations for product development, pricing strategies, and underwriting policies in line with business objectives and applicable regulations.
• Review and ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of premium calculations, actuarial assumptions, and product provisions.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Product Development, Claims, and other relevant departments on actuarial matters and provide guidance on complex cases.
