Job summary

PT Capital Life Syariah, part of Capital Financial Group, seeks a senior Actuary to lead its actuarial team. The role involves delivering professional actuarial services to management and partners, building complex models, and ensuring robust data and regulatory reporting.

The candidate will mentor the actuarial team, develop RBC models, and contribute to business insights with a focus on life insurance. Strong leadership and FSAI certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Actuarial Science.
• 10+ years’ experience working in Life Insurance industry with proven leadership ability
• FSAI Certified
• Training Based on Competency
• Smart Casual outfit for daily basis

Responsibilities

• Lead team in providing professional actuarial service to management & business partner including insight into underlying performance & business implication on topics with a moderate level of complexity.
• Perform complex statistical analyses, model, monitor and analyze data and develop complex models or programs for model building and analyses; interpret result of models and analyses to support business decision making.
• Support analyses related to activities outside of normal responsibilities.
• Provide profesional actuarial support and advice stake holder including insights into underlying performance and implication for the business
• Manage the flow and quality of relevant actuarial data to ensure robust output.
• Support development of Risk Based Capital models and calibration and parameterization activities
• Ensure that processes and standards are consistent with internal actuarial policies; lead the improvement of systems.
• Responsibility of training, mentoring and profesional development of actuarial team under supervision.
• Prepare and make sure regular internal & external (regulatory) reports

Education
