Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a hatchery technician to perform advanced incubation, hatching, and chick processing activities at our Indonesian facilities.

You will monitor incubation conditions, report any abnormalities in temperature or humidity, support egg receiving, setting, candling, transfer, and hatching processes, and ensure strict adherence to SOPs, biosecurity, hygiene, and safety standards while recording production data. Experience with logbooks and operational logs is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced hatchery tasks including incubation, hatching, and chick processing activities
• Monitor incubation conditions and report abnormalities in temperature, humidity, or equipment
• Support egg receiving, setting, candling, transfer, and hatching processes
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, biosecurity, hygiene, and safety standards
• Record and verify production data, hatch results, and operational logs
• Guide operators in routine activities and support smooth daily operations
