Zusammenfassung

COSCO is seeking a Technical Expert Underground Geotechnical Engineering to provide operational geotechnical support to PTFI’s mines at Grasberg. You will develop core underground geotechnical design, ground control, and monitoring system implementation to support production.

The role requires 15 years of experience in underground mining geotechnical engineering, with strong analytical, leadership and communication skills, and willingness to work with diverse teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Civil, or Geological Engineering or equivalent with substantial geotechnical underground mining experience.
• Experience in rock mass characterization and support design for underground mines.

Aufgaben

• Provide core underground geotechnical design expertise across operating and developing mines.
• Design ground support and conduct ground control in operational environments.
• Assist in evaluating cave performance and production forecasts; design and commission monitoring systems.
