Job summary

G2G is seeking engineers to build and migrate backend services to serverless architectures in AWS, leveraging Python and modern frontend frameworks (VueJS/React). You will work on migrating a monolithic PHP app to microservices and contribute to multiple VueJS single-page applications.

You will collaborate with a Tech Lead to shape architecture, participate in agile retrospectives, and own features from ideation through production deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Python.
• Strong expertise with MySQL, PostgreSQL, RDS Aurora and DynamoDB.
• NOSQL databases.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and web services technology.
• Version control with Git (Gitlab).
• Solid background in building complex customer-facing products with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be passionate about writing well-structured, efficient and maintainable code, actively keeping the codebase quality.
• Experience with Test Driven Deployment (TDD) and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Build & consuming REST API services in an AWS environment (Lambda, API Gateway, Serverless, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB).
• Draft architectural decisions with the Tech Lead and explore new technologies.
• Participate in agile retrospectives and influence team processes.
• Collaborate with partners, stakeholders, and technical experts to drive solutions.
• Involve and own from product ideation to production deployment, support and maintenance.
• Propose solution alternatives, analyze tradeoffs and make high-impact decisions.
• Migrate monolith PHP applications to serverless microservices and enhance VueJS SPAs.
