Job summary

This role sits within the Financial Strategy and Operations function, focusing on timely, compliant financial statements and proactive issue resolution for CBRE clients and properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2–5 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems
• Ability to analyze solutions using technical judgment and precedents
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
• Advanced math skills for calculating percentages, fractions, and financial figures

Responsibilities

• Complete intermediate to advanced-level accounting transactions for client financial statements
• Create and post journal entries and ensure expenses, owner distributions, and funding requests are posted
• Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and timely delivery to clients and management
• Review funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation, and authorization
• Respond to and resolve complex accounting issues and reports from management and clients
• Identify and address potential issues, and take corrective action
• Maintain and report benchmarks and performance metrics
• Apply standard principles to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems
• Have broad knowledge of own discipline and related areas
• Lead by example in line with CBRE RISE values
• Explain complex information clearly to others
• Work within standardized procedures to meet deadlines
