Job summary

Adecco is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to support one of our Data Center (Technology) clients in Batam. The role leads financial reporting, closes, analyses, and internal controls, collaborating with finance and operations teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in accounting/finance and 5–8 years of experience in financial reporting for project-based industries, preferably in Indonesia/APAC. Strong Excel and audit experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in financial reporting and project control.
• Experience with Indonesia and/or APAC projects.
• Strong project costing and financial analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel with PivotTables and Power Query.
• Experience with cost estimation software and financial reporting tools.
• Auditing experience (internal or external) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare management reports, financial statements, and reconciliations.
• Analyze financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and variances.
• Monitor project costs, perform cost analysis, and support budget adherence.
• Develop and automate reports using advanced Excel tools.
• Coordinate internal and external audits while ensuring compliance.
• Partner with operational teams to support budgeting, cash flow reporting, and finance process improvements.
