Adecco is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to support one of our Data Center (Technology) clients in Batam. The role leads financial reporting, closes, analyses, and internal controls, collaborating with finance and operations teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in accounting/finance and 5–8 years of experience in financial reporting for project-based industries, preferably in Indonesia/APAC. Strong Excel and audit experience are preferred.

Adecco is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to supporting one of our Data Center (Technology) client in Batam.

In this role, you will lead financial reporting activities, manage month-end and year-end close processes, perform detailed financial analysis, strengthen internal controls, and support audit and compliance requirements. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a dynamic project-based environment and enjoy working closely with both finance and operational stakeholders.

What will you do:

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

Prepare management reports, financial statements, and account reconciliations.

Analyze financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and key business variances.

Monitor project costs, perform cost analysis, and support budget adherence.

Develop and automate reports using advanced Excel tools.

Coordinate internal and external audits while ensuring compliance and strong financial controls.

Partner with operational teams to support budgeting, cash flow reporting, and finance process improvements.

What we're looking for:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 5-8 years of experience in financial reporting and project control, preferably within construction, engineering, or project-based industries.

Experience supporting Indonesia and/or APAC projects.

Strong project costing and financial analysis capabilities.

Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, and reporting automation.

Experience using cost estimation software and financial reporting tools.

Prior external or internal audit experience is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of accounting, compliance, and financial controls.
