Baker Hughes invites a Field Specialist – Well Testing Project to lead safe field execution at the wellsite in Jakarta. You will coordinate a field crew, ensure equipment readiness, and deliver high-quality well testing services in line with customer requirements and Baker Hughes standards.

The role requires 8+ years in oil and gas well testing or related operations, strong knowledge of test separators, choke manifolds, and data acquisition, plus fluent English and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of oil and gas well testing, surface testing, production testing, flowback, or related wellsite services.
• Ability to lead field execution and coordinate team members to ensure safe, on-time delivery.
• Strong knowledge of well testing equipment and surface testing package operations.
• Monitor wellsite data, identify deviations, and support timely corrective actions.
• Mentor junior crew members and promote a safe, service-excellence culture.
• Commitment to HSE, compliance, and high service quality in all activities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe and efficient execution of well testing at the wellsite, including pre-job prep, rig-up, pressure testing, flow operations, and demobilization.
• Coordinate field team during daily ops for clear task allocation and proper handover.
• Ensure jobs are delivered safely, on time, and per customer requirements and Baker Hughes standards.
• Inspect and support readiness of well testing equipment (test separators, choke manifolds, flowlines, etc.).
• Monitor parameters and elevate issues for corrective actions.
• Mentor crew members and maintain a positive, disciplined field environment.
• Maintain accurate field documentation and reports.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors, customers, and cross-functional teams.
