Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist – Well Testing Project to lead the safe and efficient field execution at the wellsite, coordinate the team during operations, and ensure equipment readiness and program adherence.

You will monitor wellsite parameters, mentor junior crew, prepare and maintain field documentation, and communicate progress and safety observations to customers, supervisors and engineers to deliver high‑quality well testing services that meet Baker Hughes standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in oil and gas well testing, surface testing, production testing, flowback or related wellsite services.
• Engineering or technical degree required, with field experience in well testing operations.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal, with ability to generate field reports and coordinate with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe and efficient field execution of well testing at the wellsite, including pre-job prep, rig-up, testing, sampling, data acquisition, and demobilization.
• Coordinate and guide field crew, ensuring clear task allocation and disciplined handovers.
• Drive service excellence by delivering tests safely, on time, and to customer specifications and Baker Hughes standards.
• Prepare, inspect, operate, and support readiness of testing equipment and data systems.
• Monitor wellsite parameters and support corrective actions in real-time at the wellsite.
• Mentor junior crew members and promote safe work practices and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate field documentation and ensure proper close-out reporting and HSE records.
• Communicate progress, issues, and updates to supervisors, customers, and cross-functional teams.
