Job summary

Geulis seeks a Lead Fashion Designer to translate trends into product concepts and oversee seasonal collections in North Jakarta. You will drive womenswear and menswear directions, supervise fabric selection, and guide design refinement to ensure market relevance.

Join Geulis to lead sampling and production, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with Production, Sales, and Marketing to deliver modern, modest fashion aligned with the brand's vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the fashion retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of fashion trends, market insights, and consumer preferences.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Pattern Making, and Sewing.
• Creative, passionate, and enthusiastic about fashion design.

Lead fashion trend research and translate emerging trends in design, materials, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes into relevant product concepts.

Develop and oversee seasonal collections, from concept development, mood boards, sketching, fabric selection, and design refinement to final product.

Identify market trends and consumer preferences to develop commercially relevant womenswear and menswear collections.

Source and evaluate fabrics, materials, and suppliers to ensure quality, design requirements, and product feasibility.

Oversee the sampling and production process, evaluate prototypes, and provide design direction to ensure the final products meet quality and design standards.

Collaborate with internal teams (ex: Production, Sales, and Marketing), as well as external partners and vendors, to ensure smooth execution of collections.

Provide design direction, mentorship, and strategic recommendations to support product development and the overall fashion direction of the brands.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the fashion retail industry.

Strong knowledge of fashion trends, market insights, and consumer preferences.
