Job summary

Master Teacher Coach English Academy - Yogyakarta is seeking dedicated full-time English teachers to deliver high-quality lessons and mentor freelance teachers in Yogyakarta. The role includes planning engaging lessons and maintaining an effective classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in English or Education, TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification, and at least 2 years of ESL teaching experience with strong mentoring and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an ESL/EFL context.
• Proven ability to mentor and support other teachers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest teaching methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students; max 25 hours per week.
• Develop engaging and interactive lesson plans for varied ages and abilities.
• Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and materials to facilitate learning.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to reach goals.
• Assess and monitor progress; provide regular reports.
• Maintain accurate attendance and performance records; administer tests and quizzes.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth class operation and schedules.
• Handle classroom management to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Mentor freelance teachers; guide on lesson planning and classroom techniques.
• Observe freelance classes and offer actionable feedback to improve teaching performance.
