Job summary

English Academy in Magelang seeks dedicated and experienced full-time English Teachers to join our team. The role includes teaching diverse age groups, mentoring freelance teachers, and upholding our high teaching standards.

Plan engaging lessons, monitor progress, manage classes, and collaborate with staff to ensure smooth operations. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in English or Education, TEFL/TESOL/CELTA, and at least two years’ ESL/EFL teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an ESL/EFL context.
• Mentor and support other teachers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest teaching methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students of various ages. Maximum 25 teaching hours per week.
• Develop engaging and interactive lesson plans tailored to student levels.
• Utilize diverse teaching techniques and materials to facilitate learning.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve goals.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular reports and updates.
