You will monitor global energy markets, prepare reports for senior management, and collaborate with data teams using Excel, Python, and R to deliver data-driven insights. A strong quantitative background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy trading, market analysis, or related financial role.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical software and modeling techniques.
• Excellent understanding of energy commodity markets, derivatives, and risk management principles.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, R, or similar.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze global and regional energy markets, including oil, gas, and power prices.
• Develop and maintain quantitative models to forecast market prices and volatility.
• Analyze trading positions, identify risks, and provide recommendations to the trading desk.
• Prepare regular market reports and presentations for senior management and the trading team.
• Support the development and implementation of new trading strategies and tools.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant trading regulations and internal risk management policies.
