Job summary

PT LS Electric Indonesia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical and electronic engineering projects in West Jakarta. You will oversee timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholders, ensuring delivery to high standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, at least 5 years in project management, and PMP (or equivalent) certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project management, preferably within electrical or electronic engineering sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, systems and project delivery methodologies.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling and resource management.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards (ISO 9001, IEC standards or equivalent).
• Fluency in English and Indonesian, both written and verbal.
• Experience with contract management and vendor coordination is advantageous.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate and manage electrical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk management and scheduling
• Monitor project progress and track key performance indicators, producing regular reports for senior management and stakeholders
• Manage project budgets and control costs, identifying and mitigating financial risks
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, procurement and quality assurance personnel
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements, manage expectations and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise potential delays or cost overruns
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards and company policies
• Conduct regular project meetings and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Lead problem-solving initiatives and implement corrective actions when issues arise
