Job summary

Nityo Infotech is seeking a Senior DCS Operator for a Polyester manufacture environment. The role focuses on controlling, monitoring, and adjusting plant parameters via the DCS to maintain stable, safe 24x7 operations.

The ideal candidate has 8–15 years of DCS operation experience in continuous process plants (polyester, PET, petrochemicals, or chemicals) and strong process automation knowledge to support safe and efficient production.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree / Diploma (D3) in relevant engineering or technical field.
• 8–15 years of DCS operation experience in a continuous process (non-batch) industrial plant (Polyester, PET, Petrochemicals, or Chemicals).
• Strong knowledge of industrial process automation, DCS interface systems, safety protocols, and operational workflows.

• DCS Operations: Monitor, operate, and control central DCS consoles to keep process parameters within design specifications.
• Target Achievement & Troubleshooting: Assist in meeting production targets by making timely adjustments to process variables and conducting initial DCS-level troubleshooting.
• Safety Monitoring: Actively track alarm systems, safety interlocks, and emergency controls to maintain safe operating conditions.
• Coordination: Coordinate with shift engineers and field operators to execute manual adjustments, startups, shutdowns, or parameter corrections.
