Job summary

MAS is expanding its EconTech capability within the Enterprise Knowledge Department to support the Economic Policy Group (EPG). You will design, build and operate pipelines for structured and unstructured data, turning them into trusted data products with proper metadata, lineage and validation.

You will also support AI use cases by developing validation frameworks for LLM-based extraction and by enabling safe data access within MAS governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; postgraduate economics/statistics is a plus.
• Around 5–8 years in data engineering, data platforms or statistical systems.
• Experience in economic data, policy or central banking is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own data inventory and standards for acquisition, storage, versioning and sharing.
• Design and operate production-grade pipelines across multiple data sources.
• Develop reusable data products with proper schemas, lineage and access.
• Build pipelines for structured and unstructured data, including text extraction.
• Support AI use cases with validation frameworks and governed data access.
• Collaborate with economists and data owners to translate needs into data requirements.
